Leave Policy

Leave policy is sub module of leave under HRMS.
According to company policy there are various types of leave for various groups or designation within a company.

  • Select referential year from the drop down for leave details.

1) Action:
  • If you want to edit the particular leave then check this check box.
2) Entitlement:
  • It contains the leave types.
3) No of days:
  • Enter no of days in this policy.
4) Minimum days:
  • Enter minimum days for this leave policy.
5) Maximum days:
  • Enter maximum days for this leave policy.
  • Maximum days can’t have more than number of days entered.
6) Carry Forward:
  • Enter the number of days which are to be carry forwarded if there is a balance left.
7) Total Accumulation:
  • Enter the total no of leave can be accumulated under this policy.
8) Encashment:
  • Enter the total number of leave which can be encashed if there is a balance.
9) Gender:
  • Select gender if the policy applies to particular gender.
  • For Eg. Maternity leave applies to only women.
10) Effect after  join (months):
  • Enter the number stating month.
  • The employee will be entitled to avail the leaves after the number of months from the joining date.
11) Allow Sandwich:
  • If you want to allow sandwich rule for particular leave then check the check box.
  • Sandwich rule: If you will take leave on Saturday and again on Monday then it is known as sandwich rule. (Saturday, Sunday, Monday salary will deduct)
12) Allow in Proportionate:
  • Allow in proportionate will allow employees to take leave which are due in future months.
  • There are four options to select from:
  • None will allow to take leave as per the example.
    Ex: If user will allow to take 12 leaves and user is joining in September month then it will allow to take 1.5 leaves
  • Proportionate will allow to take leave for the current month.
  • Quarter pro will allow employee to take four months advance leave in current month.
13) Half Pay:
  • If you want to allow half pay then use this field.
  • ex: If I applied leave for 20 days then I can get 10 days payment. (for leave 1, salary 0.5)
14) Full Pay:
  • If you want to allow half pay then use this field.
  • Ex: If I applied leave for 20 days then I can get 20 days payment. (for leave 1, salary 1)
  • Ex: If I applied leave for 20 days then I can get 40 days payment. (for leave 1, salary 2)
15) Allow Next Year Leave:
  • If you want to allow particular leave to the next year then check this check box.
16) Round of Level:
  • If you want to round of level then use this field.
17) Add leave:
  • This filed is used to add leave in which time.
  • ex: every year, one time, two time

1) Leave Title:
  • Enter leave title.
2) Ref. Year:
  • Select reference year from the drop down.
3) Effective from:
  • Select date from which the leave is in effect.
  • Note: You can enter start date of the admin year start date and end date of admin year end date.
4) Effective To:
  • Select date till which the leave is in effect.
  • Note: You can enter start date of the admin year start date and end date of admin year end date.
5) Select Employee Type (category):
  • Select employee type for leave policy details.
